iTunes to debut second album to support Global Fund on Nov. 25th
Apple has launched iTunes pre-orders for a new album to benefit the Global Fund, Dance (RED) Save Lives, Vol. 2. The album is due to go live November 25th, and features artists such as Coldplay, Robin Thicke, deadmau5, and Bob Marley. People who pre-order can get early access to "Celebrate," a song by Empire of the Sun and Tommy Trash.

The Global Fund is a charity dedicated to fighting AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. Apple normally only supports the Fund through (Product) RED, a program various companies participate in that donates part of the proceeds from select goods. Apple has relatively few RED products however, namely a handful of iPhone and iPad cases and online-only color options for less popular iPods. Some attention was brought back to Apple's RED support recently through a collaboration by Jonathan Ive with Marc Newson. Volume 1 of Dance (RED) Save Lives was released last year.
