The creators of <a href="" rel='nofollow'>MiniDrive</a> - a storage space solution for MacBooks that uses the SD card slot to provide secondary storage - have announced their upcoming unit that will be compatible with the latest 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina. The MiniDrive is a semi-permanent, on-board storage addition that provides users with 64 GB of secondary storage. <br><br />

You can make your own MiniDrive for $4 by CAREFULLY cutting away the USB portion on one of these. I've been using it on my ChromeBook for a few months with a 16GB MicroSDHC card and have had no issues.
