Briefly: SwitchEasy's new folios and case, Akvis' NatureArt 5.5
Tech accessories designer SwitchEasy has released its latest protective cases for mobile Apple devices. Available for the iPad mini with Retina display are Canvas and Pelle folios. Also available for the iPhone 5 family is a holiday version of the Melt case, Melt Snow.
The Canvas folio is made from durable matte-coated canvas material, and features a latchless, self-adhesive cover. The Pelle features a faux leather cover, and a Key Lock design for changing the viewing angle of one's iPad. Both folio cases include port protectors, an anti-static screen guard, a microfiber wipe, and a squeegee for applying the screen guard.
SwitchEasy's Melt Snow for iPhone 5, 5s and 5c is a white and red holiday edition of the original Melt case. Featuring a detachable clip-on design for easy installation, the Melt Snow case is composed of a durable hydro polymer casing with tactile covered buttons. Its textured back that emulates melting snow provides a strong grip, and its gloss coating feels smooth and aids in sliding one's phone out of tight pockets. The Canvas and Pelle cases are both available online in a variety of colors for $40, and the Melt Snow iPhone case can be purchased for $25.
Akvis' NatureArt 5.5 adds Share option, plugin compatibility

Creative software maker Akvis has released the latest version of NatureArt for Windows and Mac OS X. NatureArt offers its users the ability to reproduce natural phenomena on photographs, and can be used as a standalone application or as a plugin filter for some photo-editing programs. Its nine basic effects include rain, sun, water, lightning, clouds and more, allowing for a range of elemental combinations to be applied to an image.
