Briefly: DodoCase wood iPhone cases, waxed-leather MacBook Air case
American tech accessories producer DodoCase has released a new set of wood-clad iPhone 5 and 5s-compatible cases under the name Recover. Composed of a natural wood backplate that is inlayed into a polycarbonate bumper, Recover's low profile and snap-fit construction offer a slim design as well as suitable protection from general wear for one's iPhone. The case leaves full access to all buttons and ports, and its wide camera opening ensures photo capturing is unobstructed. Available wood choices include Walnut, White Feather, Bamboo, Wenge Stripe and Recycled Skateboard Deck Wood, the Recover Wood iPhone 5/5s case is priced at $40.
I prefer the iPhone cases from Grovemade. They started making bamboo cases back in 2009, adding hardwood in the last year or so. They use a solid surface material for the inner liner instead of polycarbonate. They used to call this 100% organic material but don't say that anymore. They also can laser-etch their designs or yours on the covers.
