Covered Moscone Center banners suggest more to be revealed at WWDC
Apple may still have a number of secret items up its sleeve, photos of covered-up WWDC banners suggest. Located in the upper floors of the Moscone Center, the hidden banners strongly suggest that Tim Cook will be revealing more than an update to <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/310965==http://www.macnn.com/articles/14/05/31/trademark.filings.wwdc.banner.point.to.california. location/" rel='nofollow'>OS X</a> and <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/310966==http://www.macnn.com/articles/14/05/30/leaves.little.hint.at.firmwares.contents/" rel='nofollow'>iOS 8</a> at the <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/310967==http://www.macnn.com/articles/14/05/27/new.versions.of.apples.operating.systems.new.imacs .expected/" rel='nofollow'>keynote</a> being delivered later today. <br />

<em>AppleInsider</em> <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/310952==http://appleinsider.com/articles/14/06/01/apple-has-a-few-more-secret-banners-still-under-wraps-at-wwdc-2014" rel='nofollow'>spotted</a> the banners on the first and second levels of the center, which can be partially seen from a nearby and technically closed parking garage. Banners have been left uncovered in some previous years for supporting technologies such as AirPlay. <br />

<br />
One candidate for what is under the banner is the iPhone 6, an item Apple has allegedly <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/310953==http://www.macnn.com/articles/14/05/30/crackdown.on.iphone.accessory.leaks.said.to.involv e.200.security.officers/" rel='nofollow'>requested aid</a> from Chinese authorities to prevent accessory-based leaks before its unveiling. A more unlikely scenario is a banner relating to the hardware or music service from <a href="http://macnn.com/rd/310954==http://www.electronista.com/articles/14/05/30/amount.for.music.may.actually.be.in.excess.of.serv ices.value/" rel='nofollow'>Beats</a>, which Apple recently acquired for $3 billion. <br />
