Boy, 11, urinates on $36K worth of MacBooks
Here's the article:

Boy, 11, urinates on $36K worth of Apple MacBooks - Technolog on msnbc.com

How is that even physically possible? He hit some and they had to condemn the whole cart? He got a ladder or chair and urinated from on high?

In any crime, first thing you're supposed to look for is the motive. So: Motive?

Anyway, all those MBs are biohazard/contaminated. And, from the Consumerist article that is cited,

Smoking Near Apple Computers Creates Biohazard, Voids Warranty - The Consumerist

computers that are contaminated by secondhand smoke, a biohazard, are also not covered by Applecare.

So, if you're a smoker, don't bother buying Applecare.

That just proves how fragile and easily-borked Macbooks are.

Seriously, one piss for some 10-20 Macbooks? Did they all have exposed logic boards or something? You gotta be kidding me.

Just yesterday I sprayed all over my iMac.

I was opening a 2 litter bottle of soda that I just took out of my car, about 2 ft away from my iMac. Soda was totally dripping from my iMac screen down to my desk which was also covered with soda.

Glad my iMac is fine since the front is just mostly a glass screen. Love my iMac. If it was a MacBook or a Mac Mini, it would probably be dead.

Main thing is there should be a story here about why the 11 year-old did this, etc.

Instead, the story is about the stuff that got ruined...

Given the nature of this thread, I'm glad you elaborated further and didn't stop after this sentence.

My guess is that they were all plugged in and he peed on the power adapter part or something. If they're the newer Unibodies there's not a lot of places for liquid to get in if the lid is closed. I'm guessing the kid's parents are going to be very frustrated with this.
