Mac Book Pro battery
Hi guys,
Quick question. I need to replace my Mac Book Pro (early 2008) 4,1 battery. In Mexico the Apple battery costs 160 USD and OWC NuPower 89 USD with shipping. 70 USD isn't really going to break anyone┬┤s bank, but all things considered which one would you buy?
The original battery didn't really served me a lot (my fault) since I had my MBP mostly stored without usage. According to Coconut's this battery has 26% cap (1483 mAh), has 29 loadcycles and is 58 months old (4.8 years old).

There is zero reason to not buy an aftermarket battery. Don't waste the money on an official Apple battery - get the NuPower one, or see if there's an even cheaper one available on eBay. Your battery shouldn't be THAT consumed with so little usage, though. That's unfortunate. :(

Thank you for your opinion.
I just ordered the NuPower one. Yup.. my fault on the original battery. I'm sure if operated correctly it would have been a different story. I was just so hesitant (still taking like 4 years) to leave Windows and work on OS X all together.
