Skype question
I lost my iPhone in my house, so I logged in Skype on my computer and called my number. When my iPhone rang, I checked the number that was calling it and it said it was coming from Palmdale, CA, which is about 50 miles from my house.

In my previous experience with Skype, when I would do the same thing, the number showed would be gibberish, with no discernible location. Has anything changed with how Skype would show its number? I don't have a skype number.

On a somewhat related note, loading a map of a foreign city and then using my iPhone with no data and phone plan and not within any WIFI hotspots, can use GPS to track my location on the map is pretty nice. I used it in a taxi.

Palmdale is a Skype hub/center/obsidian fortress. I believe, if you don't have a Skype Number or a Caller ID number set-up, Skype defaults to their own number.
