Spelling bee champion
One of the local TV news stations here in the Twin Cities did a feature on the kid who won the national Scripps-Howard spelling be a couple weeks ago (he's from Minnesota). At one point they showed him on his computer at home: an iMac. Couldn't tell what color, but it was a tray-loader.

Also, the picture I saw in the paper when he was awarded the prize showed his dad wearing an "X" (same font/style as OS X) T-shirt. Wasn't quite sure if it was what I thought it was, but now I'm reasonably positive now that you mention his son's iMac.

The kid's daddy works for Apple as a software engineer.
