Macs Used By Metallica
In the latest issue of "So What!" (the Metallica Club magazine - Volume 8, Number 2, 2001), there's an article about Kirk (the lead guitarist) called "When Worlds Collide."

Flipping to page 23, there's a side bar talking about Kirk's home studio and the guy who runs it. In the picture, you can clearly see a new Studio Display with what looks like Pro Tools running. There's also a box for DVD Studio Pro and Apple-branded DVD-R discs sitting by the display.

I know the guys in Metallica have home studios and use Pro Tools, but I always pictured them recording on PCs (probably due to the various Metallica sites using either Windows Media or Real Media, and not QuickTime). It's good to see the Mac is involved with the creations of one of the biggest bands in the world.

I'd also like to point out my post total; I now have 500 posts! Elite membership...mmmm.....
