Have you heard of product placement?
Have you heard of product placement?
In case you didnt know it aint no accident or affirmation of the Mac`s wonderfulness that you see them "popping up" on tv shows. everyone who buys a mac pays for this "favour" in the purchase price. |
Actually that's not true... Apple actually makes most studios by the equipment they display. Usually because the studios are pro-Mac, and also because no one makes cooler looking products.

You are naive Misha.

I have to agree, most Apple products get into scenes (TV,Movie,Commercial) at NO COST to Apple or inderictly to consumers for various reasons discussed in previous threads in this forum and on Apple's website.

Rastus, check this out: http://www.apple.com/hotnews/feature...ringapple.html
“By putting one PowerBook in a movie like Mission: Impossible, you get your product shown in every country in the world. You look at that and say, wow, our product has been seen by this many people for the cost of loaning the product.” Careful who you call naive when you don't know all the facts... |

Heh, its also funny to see some tv shows covering up any trace on apple computers to prevent advertising (like covering up the huge apple logo on the back of a powerbook, etc...
|
Sorry Misha, I was just repeating what Alaxander the Great said http://forums.macnn.com/cgi-bin/biggrin.gif I'm just losing tolerance for abusive superior attitudes. My apologies to all

Exactly exa,
pisses you off big time. I saw a Lombard Powerbook in the paper in this particular advert. The advert. was in there for about 2 weeks and after about a week they decided to blott out the Apple logos.......losers..... |
