I've set up my SE/30 at home and am actually using it! As such, there are a few particular items I'm looking for. I realize that everything I want is either rare or nonexistent at this point, so I'm probably going to end up having to pay out the nose. That said, I'm hoping that someone here might have something they'd be willing to sell a little cheaper than $ridiculous.
Stuff:
- A compatible 32-bit clean ROM SIMM, from a IIfx or IIsi
- A PDS video card with a VGA output, capable of doing color. Doesn't need to be SE/30 specific - as long as it has the right PDS connection and is from the right era, I can probably make it work.
- A pair of AppleDesign Powered Speakers. Mostly because everything else I have hooked up (aside from a SCSI ZIP drive) is Apple-original, and I want it to match.
- A DayStar (or similar) socketed processor upgrade card.
- A SCSI hard drive that's of respectable size - anything over 1GB is fine, given that all I've got is 80MB right now...
Right now it's unlikely that I'll be able to find the speakers or video card for under $125 anywhere else, and I really don't want to spend that much if I can help it...although given that I ended up spending nearly a grand on my clamshell, I suppose that's probably what I'll end up doing. I don't even know if there are any processor cards in the wild anymore. The RAM and hard drive I can get elsewhere, but I figured I'd ask.
