I swapped out my 10Gb drive in my DV for an IBM 34GXP. It was very easy and quick to do and it's so much faster than the previous drive.

Lots more space for films now !!!

I just ordered an IBM 34GXP drive to replace the Quantum Fireball in my non-SE DV. I feel pretty confident that it will work fine, they are a pretty good drive as best as I know.

Quite quick too, about 58-62Mb/min.

Got an iMac DV, it was playing DVD's fine. Put Adaptec's UDF driver on so that I could read some CD-R's. It stopped playing DVD's until I removed the UDF driver.
