okay, it's a snap server, and i'm trying to connect in OS 9 classic mode in OS X, via a classic app such as photoshop 5 or quark 4, so we connect via the finder chooser and then the snap will show up...

my machine is connected to a hub and not a router...so that shouldn't be the problem...and the ADSL modem is a standalone modem...

maybe the hub port is bad, but it SEEMS like whenever i reboot...

wow, so 1Gig of ram will make a very noticeable difference compared to 128...and to me 128 seemed just fine and dandy and zippy...i can't wait to see what 1 Gig will do
