5F7 is insanely fast, but, even if it's not unstable or unusable, it's pretty buggy, especially sound.

5F7 is amazing, many new features, redesigned apps/panels... they've done a wonderful work.

Boot in single-user mode (Cmd-S at startup) and run 'fsck -y', you may run it several times until it says 'The volume ... appears to be OK'.
