I have the 17",matte screen.Definitely has a bit of bleeding at the bottom of the screen.It is a bit annoying,but not a reason to exchange the laptop.

I bought the 17 HD and it's hot....but never leaves my table.Istat pro shows 60-70 celsius when it's being pushed really hard,which seems normal to me.Fans running around 3000rpm.

Got it a couple of hours ago,transfered everything from a PB 15 last gen using FW 800...took less than 20 minutes,wich was great(around 10 gigs).Comments so far:

I found the solution.On the advanced tab look for Advanced DFP and uncheck the first option(Enable ATI hardware Scaler on non-Apple panels).Working back on 60 Hz.
