For every one of you, there is one of me, who can read ebooks 12 hours a day on a Palm Treo with no problems.

I'm getting an iPad the instant it comes out and selling my Kindle.

Here's a perspective for those who think Leopard should have come preinstalled.

I am. Apparently it's a known bug and Apple is working on it, according to other postings I've seen.

As bugs go, pretty harmless, fortunately.

I got a matched pair of Mushkin RAM on the advice of my compugeek buddies from newegg for $125. I didn't necessarily see a performance boost, but what I did see was that nothing else slowed down...

I purposely bought an Energizer battery for my Pismo because I knew I could trust them to use quality components. Cost a bit more, but I was very happy with it. I think it runs about 5 hours, more or...

I don't think the 17 is too big at all. I carry mine in a Vanguard Modern case, which it just fits, and size and weight is fine for me. I like the bigger screen because I can fit more on it.

My refurb 17" MacBook Pro looked like new. Only problem so far was a failure in the keyboard lights, but that could have happened to a new computer, too.

I put a Fastmac G4, 1GB RAM, and a 7200rpm drive into my Pismo. It's surprising how useable it is if you do things that don't need a lot of raw power. If I have to convert a lot of video, I queue it...
