Until now, I've been using the protective foam shipping sheet. From here on, I'm going to instead go "au naturel"; if I find any scuffs, I'll resume using the foam sheet.

I'll report in after a...

60C before the update and 20C after the update? I assume that's a typo as even when my CPU is throttled back to 1.5GHz under light use, my cores are running around 50-55C (and the Macbook's SMART...

I haven't noticed any slowdowns due to Rosetta apps, though I don't think I've ever had a Rosetta browser or flash player installed.

It's not an issue of aspect ratio (the 23" and 20" Cinema displays are also widescreen) or screen size, but rather an issue of connector type and screen resolution.

The MacBook has a single-link...

It's easy to install, though you need to make sure it's pushed in all-the-way. FYI, I picked up two 1GB chips at Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231091) last week for...

Video-output-wise, the only thing the MBP can do that the MacBook can't is run a 30" 2560x1600 display (such as Apple's 30" Cinema and Dell's 3007WFP).

Both the MBP and MacBook can run the 20"/23"...
