I haven't seen Jag on a bondi iMac, but 10.1.5 was pretty slow. You'd definitely need the 256, but even then you might just be happier putting 128 in and running OS9 - it will be faster.

First off, the IPs are never the same. Dial up is a huge problem as far as speed is concerned. VNC is quite feasable on a faster connection but I think not dial up. Perhaps timbucktu (sp)?

You have to use it. The toolbar is actually useful, the browser is fast (perhaps the fastest I've seen on dial up), everything looks pretty good (though that may also be silk helping).
