I am certainly not an expert, but I would think so. The addition of the core duo 2 in the imac using the same card, same logic board, and same processor speed gave like a 20% bump in fps in unreal...

Went to Fry's today and bought a 1gb stick that was a Generic brand and it is working very well. I paid $199 for it. No problems to report, and Powerbook running much smoother now.
