I think it is based off of the probably much older than xeyes eyeball extension that used to be around for classic. I remember having them in os 6. Was xeyes around then?

I have been waiting for a real Guitar Tuner for OS X for some time now. There are plenty of tuners that play a note that you can then match but nothing similar to the hardware tuners that are out...
