Yeah, I know how much things are seeing as I own both, this card is for the G5 only and the Verax fan puts a premium on the card.

I don't think they have any control over setting fan speeds. It is done with software on Apple Service Diagnostic disk. It boots into open firmware, if the fans are out of calibration they are synced...
