The MBP (late 2008) is on the shelf, the 20" ACD using the MBP.
Now the only thing I want is a 24" LED display (or eventually a new 30" LED :-))

Well, they started that with the Air, I love it, optical drives (even blu-ray) are so over. Too bad they don't have the option to buy a MacBook or MacBook Pro with out an optical drive. I never use...

It;s not my main machine, but the apps you use will run fine on the macbook air.
I even run aperture on here, I use it to view shots on location shoots....

strange that the new iMac has a FSB that runs 800Mhz and that the ram modules are 667Mhz, 800Mhz modules would probably be a bit faster...

that's the same problem i have, but mine is in combination with probably a faulty DC board/CPU.
can you check if the AC adapter still whines like crazy when you start up photobooth?
