Nonsense. They use the same kernel and run the same apps (Apache, bind, postfix). If your UNIX-derived apps are crashing on a 10.3 client, you have a hardware problem. :P

Mine does it when connected to the power supply and the CPU speed is set to 'highest'. On 'reduced' or 'automatic' the sound goes away. I'm sure it's a loose shielding wire that wasn't connected...
