I totally agree with you. OW is a very flexible and pleasant browser to use :), but the biggest shortcoming is speed :(. I just hope the next version of OW will be as fast as other browsers at...

That's probably thanks to the system optimization. My feeling is that OW is more susceptible to fragmentation - after system optimization following OS update or security update, OW gets faster.

My feeling is that OW 5.1 is as fast as Safari on recent fast machines (perhaps over-GHz?), but on a-few-years-old machines OW is slower than Safari.

This way all your Safari Bookmarks are added to your original OW Bookmarks.

Even though I admit Firefox runs faster (at least on my PB 12"), I feel much more fun when using OW.
IMHO OmniWeb is the most compliant browser to Mac OS X HIG, even compared to Safari....

I feel exactly the same way! Lucida Grande looks more beautiful in OW than Safari especially in boldface, whereas Times not so. ;)
