Well I had a problem with PPPoE in 5G59. I think it depends on your connection. It's not a set up thing. With the number of reports Apple must have gotten on this, I'd really hoped it would be fixed...

Pretty much how it works is that they make batches of processors and then test how fast each one can go. So making a faster processor doesn't cost more, it's just more rare.
