Its true that larger wheels make it slower, but thats why I don't reccomend gigantic wheels. If you trade a LITTLE bit of acceleration for greatly improved steering response I think its worth it. ...

Its been proven on a dyno that slapping a DOHC muffler on a SOHC neon gives it about 6-8 hp with no negative side effects (such as noise, etc.. actually improves MPG too)
