Well I did some research and the quad 2.66 makes more sense for me. 1000.00$ more for 10-15% speed increase makes no sense. Most of my apps don't really use all the cores..

You must be mainly looking at the Mhz thing cause even between a Dual 2.7 and a Quad 2.5 G5 (which is 2 more chips!) in real world test there are only a few seconds difference in most applications......
