Last week I was almost tempted to buy Unreal Tournament for 19.99 which i thought was a reasonable price. I went to a PC reseller the next day and saw UT for pc at 9.99. This is extremly annoying....

If you have V Out you could record it, then re input it.
You could record the audio seperately using a regular audio cable running from your speaker out to your mic in. And encode to mp3 later.

Unlike you starfleet X i dont use my computer 24/7 so I can use it as a download machine when im doing something else. By the time i come back to it a 100-200mb download should have finished.

Im happy with the speed of the iBook, i dont want my secondary computer outpacing my G4/400. Its just the HD thing.

From the bouncemarks in the other topic, I find it hard to believe that the Veloctiy Engine does much for system performance in X. G4's are slightly faster than G3's regardless but havent apple done...
