Thanks dru.

I don't want MightyMouse. :-)

The whole CoreGraphics file can be opened in a couple of seconds by Photoshop, at least in my old G4 PB. However, what I do not know is how to find the...

Cursor in CoreGraphics in 10.4 1,457 Views / 4 Replies
Hi.

I was trying the old tutorial to change the cursor with HexEdit and Photoshop modifying the CoreGraphics file, but the values in the CoreGraphics file seem to have changed. Anybody knows where...

Anybody can do that?

I'm a Graphic Designer, no coding skills, unless it's xhtml or css.
I'm willing to pay. Please post a reply to this if you can help,
I'd like to know if anybody else is...

Question... 1,442 Views / 15 Replies
Hey, this could be my dream come true, kudos to Unsanity.

As I've posted many times before, I don't want to reinstall APE,
but I want to go on using themes, I replace Extras and many more
system...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Ooops 1,806 Views / 34 Replies
Yes, I did. Eight months on three of my computers.
I have paid for several haxies, too.
MightyMouse, WindowShade, Silk, Xounds.
I got rid of it all as I found better alternatives,
no use for...

Re: Re: Ooops 1,806 Views / 34 Replies
It would be perfectly possible without ShapeShifter.

One of the themes I use often now is DSX, which has white text
over black backgrounds everywhere and it's just perfect.

And I only use the...

Ooops 1,806 Views / 34 Replies
Yes, I've just found it.

I'd have to install APE and ShapeShifter, so I could transform the guiKit,
to be able to use it without APE and SS. Ironic, really. Meh.

It'd be nice if ThemePark or...

Extras.rsrc? 1,806 Views / 34 Replies
I'd love to try this theme, looks great.

I don't have APE on my system and I don't want it, either.
Was there a thread somewhere to turn guiKits into dltas or Extras.rsrc?

Pacifist 3,196 Views / 22 Replies
You can download any update (which is a package)
and then open it up with Pacifist. Then you'll see
exactly what is going to be updated and where.

You can even update just partially, selecting...

Lexmark + Panther Trouble 424 Views / 0 Replies
Hi.

I hadn't used my Lexmark Z42 since I did a clean install of Panther on my computers. Today I have to print some photos on glossy paper at maximum quality and I've had to install the printer's...

I'm talking about the users I have in my machines. The computers I use. I need several different users for my job. I don't use any theme changer, I replace the system files myself (Extras.rsrc and...

"Use at your own risk", please. 5,809 Views / 94 Replies
I've always hacked the system myself. I've never used any theme changers.

That way I can mix elements from many themes and my own graphics and get my own personalized interface. And in three...

Sorry. :hmm:

They wouldn't have developed the new proprietary guiKit though,
if they were thinking about allowing people to mess with the system,
methinks.

Mmm, smeger? Are you considering...

That's what I do. If guiKit is the only format from now on for themes, though... Bad times ahead.

We should have that "use at your own risk" option. Or a "pro" version of Shapeshifter, making the...

Sigh 4,758 Views / 87 Replies
I log in 5-7 times a day in three different computers. That means about 15-21 times a day I have to look at the login window. Every day.

More sometimes, if work regarding different users requires...

'Use at your own risk' - I like that. Definitely they should add that.

I mean, I don't think I have used a browser that it's not a "risky beta" in four or five years at least, just to name one...

Re: Re: Won't work 1,041 Views / 26 Replies
Kind of sad in fact, if you have users with root privileges and you have to work with them
for at least a few hours every day, no haxie works then.

Meh.

Should be an option or something.

Won't work 1,041 Views / 26 Replies
SS won't work logged in as root. No APE module will work as root, unless it'an old version of APE, the new one does not affect root processes anymore.
