Ok I still haven't found my CD with AHT on(considering I have been moving to new places four times lately I might have lost it on the way somewhere....). I don't know if it is legal to share the AHT...

That's true...
But I am still wondering why everything on Linux seems to be dependent on something else, while on OSX I don't really ever think of it.

I don't know about that. But I certainly have the problem when using VPC/XP that System Preferences tell me that there is another firewall running so I am not able to change the settings on the OSX...
