we saw price cuts on the new powerbooks today, maybe we can expect the same for the ibooks. i'd say apple likes to maintain that price gap so one does not cannibalize the other in sales.

no, it's not sandpaper, but made out of silicone, very soft and pliable. you might be thinking of those cheaper plastic-like shields, the ProTouch PB is not like that.
