Please check what you stated above, it�s not correct. The fans are rated at 31CFM and not 21 CFM, it�s a typo on the box.

That's a great explanation. I�ve been surfing around the net to see what replacement fans I can get, and it seems just about anything is quiter than the Delta fans running at 6800...
