That would involve quite a bit of work, including converting all my NSStrings to CStrings and then back again, and with my luck there's no guarantee it would work any better. I'd like to keep it...

I'm making an iPhone app, and I need to do a search-and-replace regex on a string. I've tried OmniFoundation (http://www.omnigroup.com/developer/), RegexKit (http://regexkit.sourceforge.net/),...

Problem solved! I actually can't explain what the problem was, but my Macs both connect to the router just fine now. I replaced ethernet cables, re-arranged ports on my router, changed settings, and...

It can't be an ethernet or router issue, because I connected a windows laptop to the same cable and it worked fine. My iBook is the only one that does this. I do not have the firewall running at all,...

What causes "Self-Assigned IP"? 6,722 Views / 11 Replies
My ethernet connection hasn't worked for four days now. Network Preferences says it has a self-assigned ip, presumably because it can't negotiate an IP with the router.

How to add labels to an iPhone table? 2,696 Views / 1 Replies
I'm trying to add a label to a grouped table. An example of a grouped table would be the Settings app on the iPhone. To make one, just make a new "Cocoa Touch List" project and change the style in...

I'm writing a program that launches a command line java program. It works fine, but you can't see any of the command line feedback - the generic java icon launches with no open window at all. I...
