Actually - you're misunderstanding print resolution with screen resolution. Computer monitors display text at 72ppi(pixels per inch) for Macs and 96ppi for Windows - the iPod shuffle screen would be...

Yes I did get a chance to play with one at MacWorld. As I stated in the post, I got the dimensions from Apple's web site and so the display in my 3D renderings are accurate - the shuffle is .98" wide...
