As long as it's in the Apple box when you buy it, warranty issues aren't going to be a problem. The one thing you might find is, in your dead pixel scenario, is simple return convenience. If you've...

What games do you play? You might be surprised how well it would run them. I have (what was the latest) 20" iMac, with ATI x1600/128 graphics, and it plays everything from WoW to UT2004...

As long as gaming isn't something you plan to do much of (other than arcade type games, such as Bejeweled, Luxor, etc.) the Mini is a good choice. I still wonder why they didn't at least bump the GPU...

I just bought the current 20" iMac less than two weeks ago. I spoke with my local Apple store yesterday and they assured me I was welcome to come in and exchange my purchase for the equivalent new...

The issue now is gonna be whether or not they've got any left to replace it with. As of Tuesday, half the Apple stores and all of the Cingular/AT&T stores were completely out of stock. :P

Interesting. As of this morning, http://www.cherryos.com comes back as a non-existent URL. Seems the reports of this being a scam were correct. ;)

I don't think the public's got a problem with Apple's iMac design at all. They're flying out of the Apple store and CompUSA's expecting every shipment to be sold before they arrive - there's a...
