I have to agree with you there. What the Touch can become is very interesting. I would not use the PDA features, but the video is sorely tempting, and then there is the possibilities once the SDK...

Is the Touch worth it over the Nano? 1,095 Views / 6 Replies
I'm curious, does everyone consider the Touch a huge upgrade video wise over the Nano? I carry a blackberry curve that holds my calender and web access and all that, so all I really need are the true...

I was kind of surprised when I saw that. Apple is being real generous with the PowerPC support. I figured they where going to use Leopard as stepping stone to start phasing them out., even if it was...

angaq0k, ghporter, thanks a lot you two. That really helped. My major professor was thinking along the lines of an older blackberry. If you have a list of things needed for your 4 pm and your...

Actually general ethics are just as impotent as the legal issues from a consequence standpoint. Even if you won in court, you could still lose your license to practice. Public courts don't decide...

The difference is the fact that I would have actual media content on an iPhone. With my current set-up I can have someone else listen to a song on my iPod or show someone a clip on my laptop without...

Which of course doesn't exist. And I'm not about to use a web app. Even if the data was on my own server, accessing it via campus wi-fi would be 10x worse of a security problem then I was already...

Here is the main issue. If I used the calender to remind myself to look something up or to research something before the next session I had with someone, or a note to consult someone, even if the...

Ok guys, I need some help making a choice. It's time for a new iPod. My old iPod Mini (yes Mini not Nano) is starting to show its age and I need video at this point. I'd like to get my media and my...

What is it with people and widescreen? I don't mind it so much in an entertainment or multimedia system, but I would not want one on a work laptop. More annoying then anything.

I haven't seen any ultra portables with dedicated graphics, but I don't see any problem with one having the same graphics chip as the MacBook. Not great, but pretty good compared to some.

The guy from your school might be saying that because what they have in stock are older PowerPC versions of the software. Technically it would run on a macbook, but it wouldn't run well. Thats the...

Sorry to type and run, but I'm just about to head to class. Looks like what you need to do is get a mini-DVI to DVI cable, then DVI to composite (RCA) or component or whatever you need to connect to....

I'm with ya there. It's silly not to wait when there might be something announced next week, but if not, the credit card is coming out.

Am I the only one that got a very funny image from this thread? "...no really! My dog ate my DVD. No I'm NOT making this up!" Glad to hear it was fairly painless to get the problem taken care of.

The white is more practical. There's still a premium just for the color. You can spec the mid range white macbook to the same as the highest backbook and the only difference would be the color. But...
