Dude, there's no way you're going to be able to pull the data off an NTFS formatted drive from your Mac. You could do it in Linux, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're at least a little Linux...

Mac cards and PC cards are pretty much identical hardware-wise, but their ROM is totally different -- since they're used on two different architectures.

GarageBand loves the RAM. I'd step up to a gig for that program if you plan to do anything serious. The CPU upgrades can wait since you can freeze tracks in GarageBand to give you a little more boost.
