Games go full screen on your primary monitor, generally. Is the ACD set as primary? If not, you have to drag the menu bar to it in the arrangements section of display preferences.

No, it doesn't have AppleCare. It does have a fair amount of time left on the original year's warranty however, and I've had zero problems from day one.
