Basically for $650 she could get a Dell 2.8mhz/19" monitor/1 gig ram/printer...but no one...

...there was a little extension called something like silentboot or quietboot you could shove in there. It was a freebie type thing.

silentboot quiet boot something like that. They said to plop it...
