You guys aren't going to believe this... I had a bent pin in the battery bay. After I straightened it, things began to work as they should. I theorize some sort of thermal expansion/pin disconnection...

I got some new batteries for my powerbook 190, to replace the old one it came with. Unfortunately, the new battery life stinks just as bad as the old. I only get to around half a charge before it...

Mpegdec should work on 68k processors for playing mp3s. I'm unsure of the quality though, as I've never used it.
