I just wanted to know if you encountered any problems, it sounds as though it all went well. I just got a new MacBook Pro with Retina 15 2.6 i7 and will proceed with my installation.

I compressed a folder containing 177Gigs. After compression the .zip file is 177Gigs. I thought compressing made the folder smaller. That's what compression means right.

What am I missing?
