I've got a file that gives me a kernel panic every time I try to remove it via either the Trash or the Terminal. I ran fsck in single-user mode and got everything cleaned up, and it still explodes...

How do I go about converting MPEG-1 audio (demuxed from an SVCD) into aiff or something FCP3 can recognize? There's nothing useful in QuickTime's Export or Save As dialogs...even in QuickTime 6.
