Hmmm...looks like a mic stand to me.
I use my iPad for music. Have a Griffin holder that screws onto the mic stand and holds my iPad 4 with all the music in it using OnSong. Works great.

If they make the OS X and/or iOS versions look like Windows 8, I'll pass.

Too Android-ish. If I wanted a crappy interface, I'd have stuck with my crappy Android phone.

I don't have a case on my iPhone 5 and have never had one for previous phones. They add to much bulk. But I do have a screen protector type material on the back of my iPhone so it won't scratch....

I had Android from its beginning (G1). It was a nice ride. Then went to the G2X (possibly the crappiest cell phone ever made). It went downhill from there.
But regardless of my personal problems...

The handwriting recognition was fairly good in models after the MP120. I still have my MP130 and MP2000, both fully functional.
