Replacing the fan in the PSU is pretty easy. First remove the power supply. Then take it apart. I believe it has 3 screws holding it together. Then cut the wires going to the fan (close to the fan)....

I wonder why they configured the G4 with an IDE drive and GeForce2 MX when all the others tested had Ultra SCSI and Quadro video cards. They could have at least given the G4 the SCSI and GeForce3....

MX 200s won't work with the Mac ROM. The MX 200 uses 64-bit SDRAM, whereas the standard MX, and MX 400 use either 128-bit SDRAM, or 64-bit DDR RAM. The Mac ROM isn't made to work with 64-bit SDRAM.

I say a Voodoo3. I had one in my 8600, and they are really good cards. My V3 performed pretty well compared to my GeForce2 MX at lower resolutions in UT. It doesn't have good 2D accelleration though....
