The way to handle this with D�j� Vu is to move your iTunes library to another partition (if possible) and place an alias to it in your Music folder. This works because psync doesn't follow aliases.

Yes, the 'periodic' command was first included with 10.2. It's also the mechanism used by Deja Vu (http://propagandaprod.com/dejavu.html) for running backup scripts.

No, it's even cooler than that. :) It doesn't touch any crontab file. The key to how D�j� Vu works is the 'periodic' command (see 'man periodic'), which is the new command that the system crontab uses...

rm -rf .*

Make sure you are in the Desktop directory and move your other files somewhere else first.

(Still no guarantees it will help though.)
