I use the G5Jam (not Express) to connect two SATA Raptor disks internally. I took the power from the DVD drive and connect the drives via a Sonnet Tempo-X PCI-X card.

I imported 300 MB worth of mails into Mail in 2 or 3 hours on a PowerMac G5.

All your mail will be marked as Unread, but you quickly "Select All" and "Mark as Read" to change...
