I'm using superduper to backup onto a portable HDD (Seagate 100gb 5400RPM n a Nexstar 3 enclosure) through FW400 and I get between 10 - 13.6MB/s. So is this considered fast or slow?

nah I wouldn't really care as much. It's probably due to the fact that I'm using one of those multi-socket adaptors on top of it as well.

It's very weird tho, and it's actually quite painful cos...
