I don't see how it could be a software issue, it sounds to me like its a circuitry thing. Then again, I'm no Apple engineer, so I'm just speculating. I haven't made any attempts to get mine fixed...

Plugged my network cable into the WAN port instead of the LAN port (confusing even to a mac vereran like me) and everything works like a charm now.

Got my 8500 non-LE from Fed Ex today. Stupid me, i also ordered the dvi to vga adapter...oh well might come in handy. Successfully flashed it to the Mac card and I'm up and running just like always....
