should've quicktime be able to play those? I think I remember on my pc ... I played those files with quicktime.

Just bought a brand new powerbook aluminum 12"
tested a dvd last night and was very suprised by the amount of noise it created.
I stuck the dvd in, and nothing happens until the dvd is 1/5 hanging...
